New data from Analytex showed that the average gas price on Ethereum has jumped by more than 29% in January 2023, highlighting the surge in user activity as a key indicator for the rise in average gas prices.
The bearish market conditions of 2022 seem to be going a bit bullish, yet, the report also indicates that the average number of unique active Ethereum wallets per day dropped by nearly 10% to 387,475 which marks a six-month low.
The average number of blocks mined per day showed little to no change, meanwhile, total block size per month jumped by 7%. Analytex’s study shows contrasting data metrics, which may be a sign of balancing forces amid crypto markets turning predominantly bullish throughout the new year.
