What is the purpose of the token?

Besides providing token holders with discounted trading fees and other benefits, BTMT aims to offer opportunities within ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investing. BTMT holders can influence BITmarkets' decision-making process in supporting companies focused on green and sustainable initiatives. Additionally, BTMT aims to support new projects via the ICO dashboard where new token issuers can access liquid markets through BTMT investments.

How does the token work?

BTMT is an ERC20 token on the Polygon network. We chose the Polygon network as it's a highly scalable and vastly interoperable blockchain with decentralized infrastructure and low transaction fees.

What is the total supply of the token?

The initial total supply of the token is 300,000,000 (300 million). With the built-in deflationary mechanism, the final supply of the token shall be reduced to 200,000,000 (200 million).

Which payment methods are accepted?

BTMT can be purchased via bank transfer, debit/credit cards and cryptocurrency on the BITmarkets spot platform.

What is the timeline for the different stages of the token sale?

The Private sale began in early March of 2023, followed by the Public sale in November of the same year. In March of 2024, BTMT was officially listed as a standalone cryptocurrency on the BITmarkets exchange for purchase and trading.
